Chemical Service Technician

A growing company in Plymouth, Michigan is currently seeking a
Chemical Service Technician to join our team immediately.

What Does a Chemical Service Technician Do?

•     Manage multiple customer accounts.
•     Visit customer sites to manage customer relationships, collect coolant samples,
      and conduct testing on collected samples.
•     Send weekly/ bi-weekly reports to management and customers with testing data,
      follow-up on concerns and suggestions for improvement.
•     Provide technical support to customers.
•     Work with customer service, sales, manufacturing and R&D to address
      customer concerns or requests efficiently and timely.
•     When not traveling, work in the wet chemistry laboratory to run testing on
      customer samples and quality control samples.
•     Assist Quality & Environmental Manager in the execution of the quality
      and environmental programs.
•     Work with our customer satisfaction team in resolving customer satisfaction issues.

•     4-Year Science Degree Preferred, or 2-Year Degree working towards
      a 4-Year Science Degree
•     Some work experience preferred, in which you have interacted and worked with
      customers on a regular basis. Does not need to be professional
      or automotive experience.
•     Will consider training the right candidate with good skill set and/or college degree.
•     Comfortable in a laboratory environment.
•     Job will include 50-75% local travel
